When you make saves like that, that’s not too surprising.

From the Bruins PR:

Rask only had one regulation loss in the month of January, going 7-1-3, including a shutout performance against the New York Rangers on January 15 where the netminder stopped all 30 shots he saw.  Rask appeared in 11 games in January, allowing 18 goals, giving him a 1.64 goals against average. In total, the 27-year-old Finnish netminder made 336 saves on 354 shots last month for a .949 save percentage.

Rask held opponents to two goals or less in nine of 11 games played in the month of January.

In 41 games this season, Rask has compiled a 22-11-7 (two shutouts) record while posting a 2.31 goals against average and .921 save percentage.
