Four different Badgers scored goals as the UW women's hockey team downed Minnesota State-Mankato 5-0 Saturday afternoon at La Bahn Arena.
The victory marked the second consecutive sweep for the Badgers (7-3-2,3-3-2 WCHA).
Alev Kelter got the scoring started for Wisconsin with a goal late in the first period.
Katarina Zgraja netted her first goal of the season just over five minutes into the second stanza to put the Badgers up 2-0. Brianna Decker tacked on a goal in the waning moments of the period to push the Wisconsin edge to three heading into the final intermission.
Decker scored her second of the game 29 seconds into the third period.
Blayre Turnbull put the icing on the cake with her first goal of the season at the 6:55 mark of the third.
Alex Rigsby collected 22 saves to record her second straight shutout.
Kelter led the way offensively for UW with a team-high two points.
With the win, Wisconsin pushes its unbeaten streak to five consecutive games.
The Badgers have next weekend off before heading to Columbus, OH to take on Ohio State in a non-conference series beginning Nov. 16.
