I think at this point, Chris Paul will end up with the Lakers. The question is, how does this work out where the league accepts the deal?
(a) Include Bynum, so the Lakers don't have the threat of acquiring Dwight Howard.
(b) Take some amount of salary back from the Hornets so they're not assuming added payroll
or some combination of the two.
For the record, I hate the idea of Chris Paul to the Lakers, but I hate the idea of the league interfering with team business more. This entire thing has been a debacle from the get go. They just need to finish thing thing off and move forward. And that means the Celtics moving on with Rajon Rondo as the point guard… which is absolutely fine with me.
