Listed at just 5’11”, the only dunks Ty Lawson is probably known for deal with the lunch time snack.
D.J. Mbenga (spelled a lot like the dunk sounded) would like to raise his hand and volunteer some information people may not know about Mr. Lawson [via Nugg Doctors]:
According to D4L’s trusty North Carolina source, he didn’t see Ty Lawson dunk at UNC in the past two seasons. He saved his ups for a pretty good time — in the NBA, on ESPN, against the reigning champs in a Nuggets victory. Crafty move by the little fella.
In other news, the NBA announcer (who shall remain nameless) that said, “That should be against the law, son” has been fined his night’s salary for being extremely weak. Better luck next time.
Also, for what it’s worth, Ty Lawson could be a Detroit Piston (he was drafted 17 overall and the Pistons had the 15th pick).
