It's two-for-one here today on MTB. Yep, we were playing catch up earlier today but now we're fully back on track as it's just 61 days to the start of brats on the grill, beverages being consumed, and students not showing up on time. Yes, just over two months till Badger football begins.
For us that means we're just Tyler Marz away from the start of football season and we can't wait! So, let's introduce you to the redshirt sophomore.
Story So Far:
– Saw action in 10 games during the 2012 season as a redshirt freshman and was named Academic All-Big Ten as well.
– Was named the 2011 Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year
– Is pushing for left tackle position this camp
History of No. 61 at Wisconsin:
Mike Lorenz (OL, 2002-04): Now AD Barry Alvarez has been quoted as saying Lorenz was one of the biggest overachievers he had seen, overcoming dyslexia as a child to earn Academic All-Big Ten honors. Lorenz started every game in his junior season and most of his senior year as well.
