The NBA and Players Union are resuming labor negotiations today, but Tyreke Evans will not wait for a resolution. Virtus Roma, the Italian team Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings played for, announced they’ve reached a contract agreement with the Sacramento Kings guard. Scott Schroeder of SB Nation has some details on the situation Evans is getting himself into:
Evans will join a team that is 3-4 through its first seven games of the season with a roster that includes former NBA center Uros Slokar and Clay Tucker, an annual Summer League invitee that has spent the majority of his career abroad after a pair of seasons in the NBA Development League.
No word yet on the terms of Evans’ contract or when he’ll join his new team.
