The Syracuse Post Standard, posting standards since 1893, has released their annual preseason media poll. The poll went as followed:
1. Pittsburgh (10 first-place votes)

8. Louisville
9. Notre Dame
10. Connecticut
11. Seton Hall
12. Cincinnati

That’s pretty much what I think, as you will find out soon. I had Villanova first though. I have no problem with UC at 12. It’s what I ranked them, and what I expected. People don’t know what to think of this team, and they could surprise.
Speaking of teams, they also released the All Big East team, as well as Player of the Year, and Freshman of the Year.
