UC Picked 2nd in Big East Media Poll

The Big East Media Poll was released earlier this morning, and the results are so.

1) Pittsburgh Panthers – 190 (22 1st place votes)

2) Cincinnati Bearcats – 142

West Virginia Mountaineers – 142 (1)

4) Connecticut Huskies 131 (1)

5) Rutgers Scarlet Knights – 99

6) South Florida Bulls – 79

7) Syracuse Orange – 41

8) Louisville Cardinals – 40

Interesting to see UC get no first place votes, but probably a ton of second place votes. The media thinks they will be good, but not that good apparently. We can take a couple of things away from this. 1) No one really believes in anyone outside the top 4. 2) The bottom of the conference sucks. 3) South Florida is not overhyped for the first time since 1874.
