UC released their new red uniforms that they’ll wear for the Connecticut game on homecoming. Here’s a warning, they are something else:

But that’s a small detail that not everyone will wear and we won’t even notice at the game or watching on TV. As someone who didn’t like the red uniforms of the past, I do like these a lot more than what we’ve seen.
The helmets though. They are something else. UC certainly got something new and original. The Jimmy Nippert on the back with the Lindner triangles is ….. a thing. Here’s a close up on the helmets.

Under Armour certainly went for the fences here. It’s just a one time thing for the 100th year so it’s the only time UC will be in those helmets. You can buy them here for $1,250 if you are so inclined.
