Fresh off his appearance in the Senior Bowl, I thought it would be a good time to share the story below about UCF linebacker Terrance Plummer.
In November of 2013, Plummer met and befriended Margaret Williamson during a team visit to Nemours Hospital in Lake Nona. Williamson is a teenager suffering from dysautonomia–a disease that makes tasks like eating and breathing difficult. Since then, the two have remained in touch and speak multiple times weekly, and Williamson was able to live her dream of going to a Knights game by attending UCF’s home opener and bowl game against NC State this past season.
Here is the story of their friendship as presented by UCF’s athletic department:

Plummer was named first team all-conference the last two seasons in the AAC, and is currently ranked as the 17th best inside linebacker in the 2015 NFL Draft class.
