UConn Depth Chart For Syracuse Game

UConn Huskies @ Syracuse Orange

UConn Huskies head coach Randy Edsall has released his depth chart for this Saturday’s game against the Syracuse Orange and there are a few minor changes.

While he wasn’t listed as the starter on the depth chart last week, Nick Williams is back on it at kick returner. He was the starter there in Thursday’s win over Pittsburgh and had a key 95 yard touchdown return that helped fuel the Huskies to the win.

What’s interesting is that Williams is also listed on the two-deep at the slot receiver as the back up to Kashif Moore. Williams is also listed as the top punt returner with Taylor Mack backing him up there.

Edsall also has made a few changes to his defensive front as well.

Trevardo Williams is now the starter at defensive end taking over for Kendall Reyes who moves to one of the starting defensive tackle position. A.J. Portee will back up Williams at defensive end and the old starter at defensive tackle, Shamar Stephen will back up Reyes. The only other change on the defensive depth chart is that Mike Lang and Harris Agbor are in an “OR” situation at safety. Agbor was the starter against Pitt.
