Since we now know we’ll never get an injury status updates from UConn Huskies football head coach Randy Edsall, we have to wait until the Big East puts out the weekly injury report.
It sucks because we have to wait until two days before the game to find out if UConn linebacker Scott Lutrus is available after missing the Texas Southern game. And now we know from looking at the injury report below that Lutrus is out this week again with an upper extremity injury.
While I hate to speculate with Lutrus still being out this week, I would have to think that he reaggravated the stinger injury he suffered last year. And if that’s the case, it’s quite possible he may not be back for a while.
