STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut football team will make history at Friday’s night game vs. East Carolina when it wears alternate uniforms for the first time ever.
The uniforms will feature dark steel gray matching jerseys and pants featuring the traditional color of navy blue with red accents. A Husky head medallion centered on the front along with the Nike fly-wire collar add a sleek feel to match the recent uniform transformation unveiled new for the 2015 season.
The custom flat matte gray helmet is flanked by a chrome husky on each side with a unique alternating navy and red stripe.
The helmet is completed by a deep chrome red facemask for a unique spin for the alternate uniform.
