UCONN announced on Friday that the men’s basketball game with Coppin State on Wednesday, December 27th, will be available for webcast. The company doing it, XOS Technologies, will be using the feed from the Hartford Civic Center video board.
The catch you ask. It’s gonna cost you $7.95 if you want to watch it. The reason why is ESPN and the Big East control the rights to the game. And since the game isn’t being picked up by anyone locally or nationally, this is the only way to see the game unless you have a ticket.
Good thing is that this is the last time, we as Huskies fans have to worry about this as the rest of the games are on local and/or national television the rest of the way.
