This is definitely not what the UConn Huskies football program needs right now. Here’s the release from the UConn Athletic Communications Department:
STORRS, Conn. (Dec. 7, 2010) – University of Connecticut freshman offensive tackle Greg McKee (Chicago, Ill.) has been suspended from the football team indefinitely. The University will have no further comment on this matter.
None of the beat writers have any more information as of right now but if they do we’ll let you know what’s going on. McKee wasn’t listed on the two-deep for the South Florida game in case you were wondering.
