The UConn Huskies football team has just one home game left on the 2010 schedule against the Cincinnati Bearcats and we now know what time it will start.
Much the happiness of head coach Randy Edsall, the game will start at 12:00 p.m. at Rentschler Field on November 27th and will be shown locally on SNY. It will be the Big East Network Game of the Week.
There are only 1,500 tickets remaining for the game and can be purchased at the Online Ticketing Center at UConnHuskies.com.
The Huskies have three games remaining needing to win one of them to become bowl-eligble. The Huskies are still alive for a BCS berth if they win their final three games and Pittsburgh loses at least one more. With two of the last three games on the road, it won’t be easy for UConn as they are winless on the road this season (Michigan, Temple, Louisville).
In other news, Edsall talked about the upcoming Syracuse game as well as Thursday’s win over Pittsburgh during the weekly Big East Coaches conference call. He also spoke about linebacker Sio Moore and running back Jordan Todman being snubbed for the Doak Walker Award.
