UEFA Champions League Heads To The Quarterfinals on Fox Sports Family of Networks

As the UEFA Champions League heads towards the Quarterfinals and eventually, the final in May, Fox Sports’ networks will bring you the next stage of the knockouts come in. Some good games too. Some will be on Fox Sports Net, others will air on Fox Soccer Channel with a few going to Fox Soccer Plus. You have the schedule below.

STAGE IS SET FOR UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTERFINALS
Final eight battle for European glory beginning March 30 on Fox Family of Networks
 
Los Angeles, CA (March 29, 2010) – Fox Soccer Channel, FOX Sports Net (FSN) and Fox Soccer Plus will feature blanket coverage of the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal round, with eight live and exclusive English-language match telecasts in high-definition from March 30 through April 7.
The world’s most prestigious club soccer competition resumes Tuesday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m. ET with UEFA Champions League Pregame on Fox Soccer Channel. Featuring a breakdown of the day’s up-coming action from expert analysts Warren Barton and Bobby McMahon, the 30-minute pregame show will be simulcast on FSN each Tuesday matchday and on Fox Soccer Plus each Wednesday matchday for the remainder of the tournament. Guest host Matthew Lorenzo will anchor the studio coverage on March 30 and 31.
First leg matches on March 30 include Manchester United visiting Bayern München live on FSN at 2:30 p.m. ET in a rematch of their epic battle during the 1999 UEFA Champions League Final. Simultaneously, Fox Soccer Channel will feature the all-French clash between Olympique Lyonnais and FC Girondins de Bordeaux.
Live coverage continues on Wednesday, March 31 as Arsenal takes on defending champion FC Barcelona at 2:30 p.m. ET on Fox Soccer Channel. Meanwhile, Fox Soccer Plus brings viewers the four-time defending Italian Serie A champion Inter Milan facing upstart Russian club CSKA Moscow
The second leg begins Tuesday, April 6 as CSKA Moscow hosts Inter Milan at a special time of 12:30 p.m. ET on Fox Soccer Channel, while FC Barcelona gets reacquainted with Arsenal at 2:30 p.m. on FSN. (Note: UEFA Champions League Pregame will only air on FSN this day).
The remaining two semifinal spots will be decided on Wednesday, April 7 as Manchester United and Bayern München square-off on Fox Soccer Channel while FC Girondins de Bordeaux faces Olympique Lyonnais on Fox Soccer Plus, both at 2:30 p.m. ET.
