UFC 148 Pick ‘Em Contest

So you think you know your MMA? You think you can predict who is going to win a fight and how?  Time to prove it. (RYU) (OTCBB: RYUN), http://www.ryu.com/, is pleased to announce that they will be making their debut exhibitor appearance at the 2012 UFC Fan Expo^® on July 6^th-7^th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.  The UFC Fan Expo^® is the world’s premier Ultimate Fighting Championship event where millions of fans of the fastest-growing sport have the opportunity to celebrate their passion for UFC by participating in various activities at the Expo.

To enhance the fans experience at the Expo, RYU will have top UFC Fighters Jamie Varner, Krzystof Soszynski, Darren Elkins, Mike Pierce, TJ Waldburger and Dennis Hallman as special guests at their exhibitor display (#2021) at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center who will be signing autographs, taking photos and talking to fans.

“We are pumped for our first UFC Fan Expo! RYU is coming in with six great UFC fighters that fans will be able to meet and get autographs from, so if you are an MMA fan then you will want to visit the RYU booth,” said RYU Brand Ambassador, Rocky Bice. “Not only will we have RYU gear available to buy, but fans will get to meet and hang out with the fighters who use and wear the RYU gear on a daily basis!”

We also have sponsors for our monthly prizes that we give out to the top point earner over the course of a month.  July’s winner can choose between a UFC DVD courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment or a deluxe UFC action figure from JAKKS Pacific.


Next up: UFC 148, where RYU will be sponsoring Glieson Tibau and Rafaello Oliveira, as well as various aspects of the UFC pay-per-view broadcast.  All picks need to be submitted by 7:00pm Eastern this Saturday. If you don’t predict the correct winner of a match you don’t qualify for the bonus point given for predicting how the match will be won.  Only one entry per person.  Ties will be broken by the following, in order: 1) Most questions correct, 2) Most points earned from main event match, 3) Whoever entered their picks the earliest.
