That’s just about how I feel about tonight’s game against Fresno.

Is it Joe’s happy feet or his grit to keep at it?

Is it that what we witnessed in officiating is something I would expect from a B1G vs. a non B1G game with B1G officials?

Is it the fact Dallas Borroughs not only did a great job on all but two returns but showed his ability to being coached up during the game and on his final returned stayed with his blockers for a huge return?

Is it the D seemed out of sync and without leadership and did that have anything to do with the loss of Jeremy  Ioane?

It’s just all so hard to define when you have so many obvious things to look at.

Certainly I would have liked to see Armand Nance get more snaps as he was under played in the game in my opinion.

Jay Ajay had a rough night but showed he is team player supporting Aaron Baltazar, who showed why we will all know how to spell his name.

Dillion Lukehart showed hard hitting and closing speed, The D line did what they could all things considering no goats there in my opinion.

Corey Bell needs to hit the weight room if he is going to be taking over for the missing Dextral Simmons.. Someone please inform me what happened to him?

I thought our more veteran wide outs dropped a couple but over all I was pleased with all of them I will not hold anyone player accountable for this loss based on a single play no one is perfect.

What makes this game so hard to take is it should have never had to come down to one play on a 4th and short in the last couple minutes. It came down to a host of small typical things that happen in a game to go along with some officiating that flat out was missed and or didn’t go our way.

To lose by a single point in this game to me only showed how much talent the team has but seems to be lacking I don’t know, leadership? Coaching? Game direction? There is no doubt in my mind that when you take the accumulation of talent on both side lines Boise State had superior talent available it just didn’t seem to be prepared nor lead on and off the field in a consistent way.

In many ways it looked like Boise State football in others it didn’t look anything like Boise State football. It’s one of the younger teams we’ve had in a long time and seem very similar to the 2007 and 2005 teams.

Plenty of great football ahead of us this season games I’m looking forward to in seeing how this team comes together for not just the rest of this season but in building leaders for next season at @ Utah State, @ BYU home vs. Wyoming and @ San Diego st.  BYU is looks to be the biggest future test of all but Wyoming and SDSU are must wins and while we have the Cowboys on the Blue and SDSU looks like a walk the fact remains these are young men and teams that look dysfunctional at the start of the season can get it all together at the end which makes SDSU game one to be on the lookout for.

Missed holding call on Fresno's first drive on the TD play.

No doubt as a Bronco fan we are very much spoiled and cry like babies when a Kellen Moore lead team would loss a single game by single digits in final seconds but the reality in the end what makes college football such a great sport over all is it’s in a constant state of flux and when your team gets caught in the flux with a new system new coaches and a small senior class it makes for trying seasons.

We all start the season hoping for the best BCS dreams and all but in the end it’s a war for the conference fought through individual battles, tonight was more like a draw a to be continued let’s hope it leads back to a rematch for the conference champion ship and a jump off point to future greatness.
