US President Barack Obama fills out on the “Presidential Bracket” and places Florida, Michigan State, Arizona, and Louisville to reach the Final Four. However, Obama predicts that Michigan State will win all the way to national championship. He seems very confident that Michigan State Spartans will shut down the 2013’s national champions, Louisville Cardinals.

“Tom Izzo is a great tournament coach,” Obama told Andy Katz on ESPN’s Barack-etology show. “I’ve got Michigan State going all the way. He knows how to motivate folks, and he knows how to coach. My pick: Michigan State. Bring it home for me. It’s been a while since I’ve won my pool.”

Tom Izzo is a great tournament coach, so are Billy Donovan from Florida, and Rick Pitino from Louisville. These coaches have won the NCAA Tournament championships previously.

Last year, Obama predicted that Indiana would win the NCAA Tournament, but they lost to Syracuse in an East Regional semifinal. The only correct prediction he obtained was: North Carolina, when they defeated Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament championship game in 2009.

“I know these are not the most imaginative picks,” Obama confessed. “But they are the right ones.”

Generally, the NCAA Tournament bracket can be quite a challenge and tricky. It is usually difficult to predict the correct one, but at least, Obama still has his confidence in his own bracket. As long as he is the president of the United States, the American fans are truly pleasure to see him be a part of the interactive NCAA Tournament bracket, just like us.
