ESPN announced today that “College Gameday” will return to Columbia, SC for the matchup between the SC Gamecocks and the Crimson Tide of Alabama. CBS will broadcast the game at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
This will be the fourth time that “Gameday” has brought their traveling tailgate show to the capital city of South Carolina. The ESPN show also was in town for the 2001 Florida game, the 2004 Georgia game and the 2006 Tennessee game.
Also today, the South Carolina Gamecocks football team (3-1, 1-1 SEC) moved up one spot in the Associated Press poll to No. 19 and two spots in the USA Today Coaches Poll to No. 20.
