Oh the beautiful city of London. This city is abundant with museums, historic churches, luxury hotels and a night life to fit the desires of any bloke, so who wouldn’t want to visit? The Buccaneers, ever so grateful for this brief sabbatical, flew in as early as possible just to enjoy what this great city has to offer. During their vacation midst a plethora of shopping, pubs and sight-seeing, football must have humbly taken its place on the back burner. London, one of the great trading capitals of the world, is known to sell just about anything. However, when our young team of Buccaneers went shopping in the great city, the shops had already sold out of discipline, motivation and humility.
When it comes to dining out, London boasts a diverse superfluity of restaurants. Here one can find establishments ranging from local cheap-eats to hot spots with an air of royalty, like L’Oranger. Some of the menu items found at the restaurants visited by the Buccaneers included: self-glorification, arrogance and complacency. All entrees were served with hot bread and a side of hauteur.
London is a bustling city, full of culture and energy; known as an Eden for young people looking for places to explore and things to do. It is possible that all the exuberance the Buccaneers may have had was spent exploring this global hot spot of a destination; spending their energy on the streets and not on the field.
Bears 24-Buccaneers 18.
