Eddie Vanderdoes has changed his mind. You know this- no, you already knew this weeks ago. So, today's news about Eddie Vanderdoes transferring to UCLA from Notre Dame, a place where Vanderdoes had yet to enroll, should not have been any news of consequence.

So… here we are. We are pretty much right where we were on February 5th of this year. The Irish have a dynamite recruiting class that includes three 5 star payers and fourteen 4 star players. They could have done a little better on the defensive line, but future recruiting and player development can help negate that small negative.
Unlike Vanderdoes, however, I am not flip-flopping my stance. In my podcast, I refused to blow sunshine up any of your asses. This sucks. It sucks balls. But, regardless of how much it sucks and and how big the the suckled balls are, there is no need to go skydiving without a parachute.
First and foremost, we have no idea why Vanderdoes changed his mind. I will say that if it was truly legit, I doubt that the family would keep so quiet about what it is. That doesn't mean that it is something as shady as trying to extort the university for a scholarship offer for a sibling or some mysterious academic promise. It could be, but I'm pretty sure we will never know for sure.
So, what else is there to do but move on. Seriously. Get over it. Chalk it up to another unfortunate incident in a long string of unfortunate incidents since January. Shit, if it makes you feel better, throw it into the same pot of regret and disbelief and anger that you have kept stored in your heart for the past 20 years. Throw it there, and then blow that motherfucker to kingdom come.
I'm not sure if this commentary has been any kind of helpful or a complete waste of time for both you and me, but the time for wasting away words on those players that were never a part of Notre Dame and of those that don't want to be a part of Notre Dame is over. I'm moving on, you should move on, and Louis Nix has moved on- so get over it.
My boy @EddieVanderdoes gonna be a #Bruin #Congrats
