Versus Steps Into the MLB Game with “Greatest MLB Rivalries”

Starting tonight and airing weekly throughout this month, Versus airs a MLB-produced series on the greatest rivalries in baseball. The series will examine Red Sox-Yankees, Dodgers-Giants and other rivalries. Here’s the press release from MLB.
 

“GREATEST MLB RIVALRIES,” CREATED BY MLB PRODUCTIONS, DEBUTS TONIGHT ON VERSUS AT 8:00 P.M. ET
Dodgers-Giants. Cubs-Cardinals. Red Sox-Yankees.  These intense rivalries transcend the playing field and engulf entire cities and regions with a competitive fervor that spans generations.  
Beginning tonight on VERSUS at 8:00 p.m. ET, “Greatest MLB Rivalries”, a new series created by MLB Productions, will take viewers inside the most compelling head-to-head matchups in the game today.
Each 60-minute episode will highlight a different marquee match-up featuring one of the great baseball rivalries by taking viewers inside the series, providing perspective from players, coaches, fans, media and team management. 
Tonight’s debut episode looks at the rivalry between the American League and National League in the All-Star Game over the years, including highlights from the 2010 All-Star Game, which the National League won to snap a 13-year streak of American League dominance. 
The full schedule for “Greatest MLB Rivalries” on VERSUS follows (all shows will air at 8:00 p.m. ET):
     August 3 – American League vs. National League
     August 10 – Cardinals vs. Cubs
     August 17 – Dodgers vs. Giants
     August 24 – Mets vs. Phillies
          August 31 – Red Sox vs. Yankees
