We’ve been keeping you updated on all of the San Antonio Spurs recent draft picks and how they’re developing overseas. We’ve covered Adam Hanga before, but now we have an update and we’ve got highlights.
In the past I’ve said Adam Hanga looks like everything I always wanted Leandro Barbosa to be. He’s aggressive and dives to the basket every chance he gets.
Check out these highlights from yesterday’s Assignia Manresa vs. Gran Canaria game. Hanga soars for an alley-oop early in the highlights, but the must see video comes at the two minute mark where Hanga climbs the ladder and throws down a sick put-back dunk. Hanga’s team won and he scored 6 points, 5 boards and a couple of assists.
Currently, Hanga is averaging 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 23 minutes per game through four games. He’s also averaging about 3 turnovers a game, but he’s young and probably is more reckless than anything judging by his style of play.
Here’s hoping to continued growth from Hanga and many more athletic plays for us to drool over.
And as I was saying, get ready for some really nice plays from the young man including that ridiculous put-back dunk.
