Saturday in Detroit, something truly amazing happened: J.B. Shuck, he of the 11 career homers, including the minors, took reigning AL Cy Young winner Max Scherzer deep for a leadoff home run. It was a feat so stunning that the cameraman filming Shuck’s home run trot, tripped and fell hard following Shuck as he turned for home.
