David Backes does a lot of things really well. Apparently that’s not just limited to the sport of hockey. Backes was called on to throw out the first pitch before the St. Louis Cardinals took on the Cincinnati Reds and he delivered a strike.

Backes apparently didn’t have too many chances to warm up, thanks to his teammates.
Backes also said his teammates have probably hidden baseballs to prevent him from practicing. "They hope I screw up. I'll prove them wrong."
