Both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors were able to win gold at the 2014 FIBA World Cup (#Spain2014).
Curry was pegged as a lock to be on the squad and he made it. Thompson was looked upon as a wildcard to make the team, but he also made it onto the squad. Along with Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings, Curry and Thompson were the only NBA teammates to be on Team USA.
The FIBA World Cup allowed the #SplashBrothers to develop and growM more with each other.
Quote from video:
Kyle Korver: “Obviously, they’re great shooters, they’re still young and gonna keep on getting better, 1st thing with both of them is work ethic, they both work really hard at it, I’ve been really impressed with how much work they put in everyday, they both wanna be great.”
