Despite losing big to the San Antonio Spurs (118-105), New York Knicks’ Amar’e Stoudemire said New York has more talent than San Antonio and the Spurs cannot compete with his team.
This comment left many Spurs fans scratching their heads and left Spurs’ Richard Jefferson and Gary Neal befuddled.
Now granted, Amar’e did temper that comment by stating New York can learn a thing or two about how to play on the court from San Antonio but for him to begin such a comment in that fashion was a bit out of place.
Check out what Jefferson and Neal had to say (via woai.com) about Stoudemire’s comment.
What do you have to say Spurs fans? I am sure you have a few things to say to Amar’e.
