Earlier this week Penn State received a verbal commitment from St. Joseph’s Prep quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg, son of Philadelphia Eagles assistant coach Marty Mornhinweg. The news was positive for Penn State fans, who remember that it was not that long ago that the quarterback future at Penn State looked dim at best following the transfer of Pat Devlin. Now the position appears to be pretty deep with Rob Bolden, Paul Jones and even Kevin Newsome all still in the program as we get closer to August (and Matt McGloin).
We can take a closer look at the future of the position a little later, but Philadelphia’s ABC affiliate, WPVI (6 ABC), sent sports reporter Jeff Skversky to catch up with Mornhinweg so he could talk about his recruitment a bit.
