With no postgame conference call anymore this season, there wasn’t an opportunity to discuss the UConn Huskies football team winning their season opener game against the Villanova Wildcats last Thursday night.
So during his pregame press conference for Saturday afternoon’s game against the Army Black Knights, UConn Huskies football head coach Bob Diaco took a few minutes to discuss who he thought had good individual performances in week 1.
Included in his list of top performers were QB Bryant Shirreffs, RB Ron Johnson and DE/LB Luke Carrezola among others.
