Tonight marks the longest regular season trip for the UConn Huskies football team as they are in Provo, UT to take on the BYU Cougars. It’s a whole new challenge for them as well.
For one, the game time is 10:15 p.m. EDT; two hours later than they’ve ever started a game.
It’ll be the highest elevation they’ve ever played with LaVell Edwards Stadium sitting almost a mile above sea level (4,649 feet). So you might expect the UConn Huskies to get tired quickly. But I wouldn’t bet on that with the excellent job that strength and conditioning coach Matt Balis has done with the UConn Huskies football team.
It will also be a very physical game on both sides of the ball from BYU and the UConn Huskies.
And it’s another chance for the UConn Huskies football program to show a national television audience their DNA and maybe surprise some people like they did when they almost beat Missouri two weeks ago.
Watch below as UConn Huskies head coach Bob Diaco, WR Noel Thomas and S Andrew Adams talk about BYU.
