Video: UConn Huskies LB Matt Walsh Talks About Triple Option Preparation

The UConn Huskies football team has already faced and prepared for a triple option this season when they faced the Army Black Knights two weeks ago.

The UConn Huskies won the game 22-17 and did a great job of keeping contain for the most part on Army QB Ahmad Bradshaw.

The game also marked the first career start on defense for Madison, CT native Matt Walsh at linebacker. He had made a few starts at fullback as a freshman.

Walsh, who transitioned from fullback to linebacker this past spring, was familiar with the triple option having faced it in high school. This made it easier for him as it came to him naturally when getting ready for Army.

Watch and/or listen below as Walsh talked last week about preparing for the triple option and facing it in high school.
