The Minnesota Vikings (8-3) will be hosting the Seattle Seahawks (6-5) tomorrow at TCF Bank Stadium.
The Vikings have been on a roll lately; they have passed their wins totals for last year, are 4-1 at home, and had their fourth straight road victory after defeating the Atlanta Falcons 20-10.
The Seahawks are 2-3 on the road and have been a shell of their former winning selves as of late. But they have managed to win their second straight victory this season last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers 39-30.
A true test for the Vikings offense will be the Seahawks defense. The Seahawks defense is fifth in the league for rushing defense and has yielded only 92.9 yards per game. But in our favor is, as always, is Adrian Peterson. He currently leads the NFL in rushing, with 1,164 yards this season and is averaging 4.9 yards per carry and 105.8 yards per game.
The Vikings defense has allowed the second fewest points per game in the NFL and is the fourth ranked passing defense in the NFL, allowing only 223.4 passing yards per game, which will come into play when facing off against Russell Wilson.
Wilson has an 2,723 passing yards to go along with 18 TDs, seven interceptions, a 67.7 completion percentage and a 102.9 passer rating. While some of field play is ugly at times, the end result most of the time is win. The Vikings defense will need to make an effort to keep Wilson in the pocket to prevent him from the getting into the end zone.
