Vin Scully hasn’t missed much during his 65 seasons as the voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers. After being the booth for three perfect games, 19 no-hitters, 25 World Series and 12 All-Star games…Thursday was a first.
He lost his 1988 World Series ring.
The 87-year-old was out Christmas shopping when the prized piece of jewelry ended up missing. Thankfully, the Dodgers had his back and quickly sent out an SOS via Twitter.
While Christmas shopping today, Vin Scully lost his 1988 World Series ring. If you find it, please contact the Dodgers at (323) 224-1500.

Nine minutes later…this.
Great news! Vin Scully's 1988 World Series ring has been found. (This was not a drill — Vin thanks everyone for their concern.)

Now, no word whether or not Scully misplaced the hardware or if someone actually found it, but, still…it’s pretty cool that it found its way back to the Hall of Famer’s hand.
