It's pretty safe to say that there willl never be another Manny Ramirez, right? Except that, the embattled slugger named two of his three kids "Manny".
Why he didn't name all three of his sons "Manny"? Well, obviously, that would be crazy.
Anyway, the older of the two recently tore it up for IMG Academy in the Cleats Sports Classic Invitational this past weekend going 12-for-23 (.522) with two homers, 15 RBI and nine runs scored.
At 17, Manny Jr. is already bigger (6'4", 200 lbs) than his old man was at the same age and is already committed to Central Arizona Community College, but, given he's a top-250 prospect, it's quite possible that he'll end up getting drafted this June.
Now, I don't want to be the guy to say it, but I'm thinking I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this Manny Ramirez makes it to the bigs before the other one does.
