Tim Wakefield will be announcing his retirement from baseball at a press conference at 5 pm in Fort Myers, Florida today. Wake has always been willing to do whatever it takes to help out his team and the people of Boston. He spent 17 of his 19 years in MLB with the Red Sox.
Last season I was lucky enough to meet Wake at Fenway. Below is a picture of my son at the meeting.
