Were you hoping to see a super-blazing fast, one-and-done, phenom of a point guard from Kentucky face off against a super-blazing fast, one-and-done, phenom of a point guard from Kentucky?
You might be out of luck. Wall didn't play last night because of a sprained foot. He did make the trip with the team, so it's possible he'll play, but on Twitter this morning, there was this little exchange:
@dleach745: @jimmywa11 you good to go tonight
@jimmywa11: @dleach745 naw
So there's that.
Naw.
Good enough for me.
I'm guessing he's out since Washington doesn't want to push the the future of their franchise if he's not feeling 100%. There's no point. They're not winning a title this year… so we'll have to wait to see that matchup until… JANUARY?!?!
Yep, the next matchup against Washington is January 22 in Washington. If you want to see it in person, you'll have to wait until April 8.
Get in line now!
Of course, he could feel better later this afternoon and this will mean nothing.
