Chien-Ming Wang went the distance for the New York Yankees tossing a two-hitter against the Red Sox. With stellar pitching and timely offense the Yankees took game one of the series 4-1.
Wang (3-0) only allowed one run on a J.D. Drew homerun that was almost caught at the bullpen wall. The only other hit allowed by Wang was on a bunt by Coco Crisp.
On the bright side for Boston, Drew, has been hot at the plate leading the team in homeruns with three.
