LAKE MERRITT, OAKLAND, CA — The Golden State Warriors celebrated their 2015 NBA Finals title over the Cleveland Cavaliers yesterday and a reported one million were on hand to see it. Our recap (of Draymond Green‘s antics) can be found at Blacktop TV. Here’s an excerpt…

In his interview with Gold-Onwude, Green took the opportunity to do a little freestyle rapping, modifying some of the lyrics of local artist E-40’s “Choices (Yup) (Warriors Remix)”.
.
“Klay Thompson. Yup. Splash Brothers. Yup. Cavaliers. Nope. We won. Yup. They suck. Yea. We here. Yea. They not. Nope.”
.
Andre Iguodala was well aware of Green basking in the glory.
.
“Y’all know when you got that family barbeque and you always got that buzzed uncle that wants to tell all the stories about what he used to do and how passionate he is about whatever it is that he does? ” Iguodala asked the crowd from his moment at the podium. “Y’all give another round of applause to Draymond Green.”
.
In all the revelry, what remained a constant among the Warriors was the confidence in having another parade in the future, yet still taking things one step at a time.
.
“The cool thing about it is,” said Curry, “we’re going to suit up in three more months and try to do it again.”
