SF: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (8.2 PPG, 0.9 APG, 4.9 RPG)

PF: Josh McRoberts (8.0 PPG, 4.1 APG, 5.2 RPG)

C: Al Jefferson (19.6 PPG, 2.1 APG, 10.6 RPG)

The Warriors look to protect Warriors Ground tonight against a weak Bobcats team. Warriors will have Jermaine O’Neal back in uniform tonight which is a huge help to the bench unit, especially since this will be his first game with Jordan Crawford. Lee remains questionable, as we reported earlier by Twitter and in the same post.

Thompson will look to break out a shooting slump as he went 3-for-20 in his last outing. Walker is expected to play tonight for the Bobcats, which will help them, but not too much when he has to go up against the best point guard in the NBA, if we wanted to go by voting tallies for point guards only. However, the Warriors can’t sleep on the Bobcats, they have a lot of young talent here along with Big Al.

Monte Poole of CSN Bay Area writes:

MATCHUPS TO WATCH: Curry vs. Walker. Though Walker is listed as questionable, with an ankle sprain, this is a matchup he relishes. If there is a way, he will play. Otherwise, Curry will have to seek vengeance on . . . Ramon Sessions.
.
Bogut vs. Jefferson. This is a battle of traditional centers, mastodons comfortable operating on the block. Bogut is better on defense, Jefferson on offense, as he has an array of moves at his disposal. Can Bogut stay out of foul trouble?
.
Klay Thompson vs. Gerald Henderson. Klay has been slumping on offense. Henderson had a very good game in December. Seems Thompson should be powered by plenty of motivation.
