ORACLE ARENA, OAKLAND, CA — Here are the pre-game sights and sounds, as well as various notes, from Oracle Arena, Game 6 Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Clippers, including practice yesterday and morning shootaround at the Warriors practice facility…

Head coach Mark Jackson said about Stephen Curry needing to mitigate turnovers: “I’m sure he’d be the first one to tell you,” and on their approach to Game 6: “It’s important for us to realize things we’ve done to win two games and things we’ve done to lose three games.”

Curry said at Warriors practice: “It’s not as bad as it seems. Obviously we gotta win these next two, backs against the wall, but it’s not like we have to do anything special to get over the hump.”

Meanwhile, Andrew Bogut made an appearance, to the left of Ognjen Kuzmic and Marreese Speights, but Bogut wasn’t doing anything though except an occasional rebound.

This morning at shootaround, Klay Thompson responded on the talk of Coach Jackson possibly not returning next season: “Not only can he coach, but he’s a great friend, so we’re playing to win, we’re playing to win for him, we’re playing to win for the fans and for us. I don’t really want to think about that because we don’t want to add any pressure to ourselves.”

#Roaracle is ready, in the summer-like heat!

Nine-year-old Nayah Damasen gets ready to sing the national anthem. She was a good luck charm for Game 4. Meanwhile, David Lee warms up.

At the pregame presser, when asked about Curry “taking over”, Jackson said, “This just in: Steph Curry is not Michael Jordan…”, referring to the athleticism of not only MJ, but also that of DeAndre Jordan trapping Steph.

Following that, Doc Rivers on Curry: “The guy can shoot AND dribble…He’s a difficult guy to game plan for.” Someone also joked about the Los Angeles Lakers coaching vacancy, to which Rivers replied, “No comment,” but quipped, “Ask Mark that,” while walking out.

In the Warriors locker room, we caught Jordan Crawford lacing up his Kobes. We also took a closer look at Andre Iguodala‘s shoes.

The last time the Warriors won an elimination game, Sleepy Floyd scored 51 points, in 1987, against the Lakers. The Warriors lost that series, however. Can these Warriors change that up?
