Last Time Out:

Golden State lost to the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix ,107-95. Curry had 28 points and 10 assists.

San Antonio beat the Los Angeles Clippers in Los Angeles, 89-85.

What to Watch For:

Thompson presence was missed on both ends of the court in the loss on Sunday in Phoenix. He has said he will be ready to play in tonight’s game, but his minutes could be limited because of his hand injury. With Duncan and Ginobili likely out after playing 36 and 25 minutes last night, respectively, the Warriors should not get too excited that the Spurs will be missing two of their best players and future Hall Of Famers. All of #DubNation remembers when the Spurs beat the Warriors without Duncan, Parker, or Ginobili.

Turnovers have been a huge issue for the Warriors this year. After Sunday night’s loss, Coach Kerr addressed the issue of turnovers and how that type of play isn’t going to cut it.

“You’re not going to win in this league turning it over 26 times” Kerr said after the disappointing loss, “We were our own worst enemy [and] we got what we deserved.”

Curry, who was just named Western Conference Player of the Week had 10 turnovers by himself in the game and leads the league in that category. He also spoke after the game about the issue.

“You got to be able to control the game by making the smart plays and not just handing it to them,” Curry said post game in the locker room, “Tonight was like the first night that turnovers really affected the game when it came to us really winning.

“It gave them life and easy buckets that they were struggling to find.”

The next day, Curry posted a picture on his instagram of an apple turnover with the caption “smh. It’ll change.”
