There will be people that say the second onsides kick call by Raheem Morris the wrong call to make. That it was stupid, and that they should have trusted the Bucs defense.
I would have to agree with that to a point, I would have liked to have seen what the Bucs defense could do with the opportunity. But Raheem Morris says the plan was all week long the Bucs would go for it on kickoffs, that was the game plan. You have to like the mindset of Raheem Morris, he felt his Bucs team would have to think outside the box to have a chance to win this game.
I wonder if he will second guess himself during the week, on the first or second call. The truth is, the Bucs were very close to recovering the second one, and if they do, probably win the game.
That alone is worth the risk. If the Bucs get the onside kick, they more than likely march downfield and Win, and that’s why you have to respect Morris’ decision to do it.
