Wash, Rinse and Repeat

Friday night the Coyotes clinched a playoff spot for the second year in a row with a fantastic win over the dreaded Sharks. Today we found out we will be facing the red wings, again. As I said last season… BRING IT!

I have a good feeling about this. Well, the on ice aspect of it, not so much the red win fans in our house. I will qualify this, not all Red Wing fans are bad. There just have been much more incidents I’ve witnessed with their fans then most other teams (Buffalo fans give them a run for their money).

Hopefully I will be able to attend some playoff games this year. I will hopefully know more Monday. Now, I really want to go. My broke ass set aside some of my tax return yesterday in case I can get tickets. I have someone checking on tickets for me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Friday night was a great game. The boys pretty much played a full 60 minutes and everyone was working their butts off. They didn’t let the Sharks control the game too much. This is the team we need in the playoffs, not the Saturday team. I know my boys can do this. They were so close last year and may have had won if Doan hadn’t been injured. We need all guys healthy and ready to go. They know what they are playing for and I have faith that they will put 100% in.

One area I hope improves is the Power Play. We need to convert more on those chances. Some PP we actually keep the puck in the opponents zone and set it up nicely. Other times we can’t even enter the zone. Just more consistency here. If we could stay in the zone, we’d have more chances to score. And I want to score more. ๐Ÿ˜›

I am going to try to work harder at updating during the playoffs. I know I’ve been slacking lately but homework and upcoming graduation has taken over my life. Party planning and writing a 10 page research paper is a lot of work! I need to make a better commitment to this blog. I love writing and I love hockey so I must make more of an effort. I need better time management skills… or less sleep.

I will say I am a bit disappointed. I really want to play the Kings in the playoffs. I really don’t know why but I think it would be a great series. And so far, I have not met a King’s fan that I have disliked. And I can think of two great Kings blogs I could work with.

And with that, GO COYOTES HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWL!!!!!!!
