Washington Capitals take a strong, anti-Pittsburgh stand

I’m a long time supporter of anyone bashing Pittsburgh. I don’t like the Penguins and I don’t like the town. Just rubs me the wrong way. I’m not sure I could have handled a rejoinder quite as brutally as the Washington Capitals did today.

Pittsburgh — rightfully — mocked Washington for their banner addition ahead of their game this evening.

Ouch. Pittsburgh, as you know, wants other teams to act like they’ve been there before when they win, but won’t hesitate to rub your face in it when they succeed. To each their own, I guess. Let Pittsburgh have their fun on the ice, because otherwise it’s a soul sucking hellhole. I mean, if the Caps are to be believed.
