Remember 1972? It was a hell of a year. Dirty Harry was released in theatres, HBO launched it’s first programming only so years later they could release “Game of Thrones,” and PONG became famous. What a world we live in! Also, the Minnesota Vikings played the Pittsburgh Steelers in an NFL game, and some guy on YouTube put the entire game online.

It’s not a great game. The Vikings got their dicks stepped on, losing 10-23, but if anything it should remind you about what the team was like just last year while we wait for the 2013 season to get kick started. Did you know training camp is only like a week away, or something? That’s nuts. I need to figure out fantasy football shit, don’t I?
Anyway, take this Tuesday to watch an entire game (including commercials!) of Fran Tarkenton (that cunt), Alan Page, and Bud Grant play like real men (well, 2 out of 3 of those guys played/coached like real men …) while wearing purple. But mostly white. And some purple.

All these people look so nonathletic. I can’t believe they actually played football, and no one died every game. Modern players would beat their faces in. Unless you had to play our current defense. Then it’d be pretty evenly matched.
