NFL fans were treated to a great first game on Thanksgiving Day, when the Lions and Vikings squared off in a matchup that was tight throughout.
But what happened during halftime of that game was just painful to watch.
Soft rock/pop singer Andy Grammer, for some reason, was selected to perform, which was weird. Grammer’s style isn’t really suitable for sports fans, but he was picked anyway.
He was just as bad as you’d think he’d be.
Grammer laid down in the grass, which was weird, and put forth a far-from-passionate effort.

What was that even? I’m not really sure. But it didn’t resonate with football fans.

Somewhere @BigSean is shaking his head. Hell, we could have got 2 Tops. We didn't even need all 4.

The NFL seems to continue to move in the wrong direction when it comes to performers. Do better, guys.
