The Chicago Bears’ best play on offense in the first half came in the final play of the stanza, in the most improbable fashion.
In a half that quarterback Jay Cutler would probably like to block out from memory, marred by turnovers, his longest pass of the day was completed at the very end of it. It probably wasn’t drawn up that way, but Cutler’s 50-yard Hail Mary pass was completed to Cameron Meredith for a touchdown, thanks to a few tips along the way.

That score cut the Bucs’ lead to 17-10 heading into the half.
