The DeMarcus Cousins/Mike Dunleavy lovefest continued tonight in Sacramento. Last season, the duo almost went to blows when Dunleavy went low on Cousins and the Kings big man retaliated moments later with an elbow to the head.
Dunleavy was up to the same tricks tonight, pushing Cousins in the back on a fast break attempt and generally getting chippy with Sacramento’s $62-million man.
“I would say yes,” Cousins responded when asked if it was tough to keep his cool in Monday’s chippy game. “Like you said, it was a chippy game. It was a physical game. But we did a great job of keeping our composure in those moments and we came out with a big win.”
There’s never a dull moment in Sacramento.
